Ilran Kim
Ilran Kim concentrates her practice on corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, ongoing public and private company representation and financings. Prior to joining Gehrke & Umana LLP, Ms. Kim was a Junior Partner in the Corporate Department of Hale and Dorr LLP (predecessor to WilmerHale LLP), where she represented public and private companies engaged in diverse industries, including software, medical devices, biotechnology and consulting services.
Ms. Kim's transactional experience includes mergers and acquisitions representing purchasers and sellers in various public and private acquisitions involving stock purchases, asset purchases and mergers, venture capital financings representing issuers and investors in initial and subsequent rounds of financing, and public offerings representing issuers and underwriters. Her ongoing representation of clients has included matters involving corporate governance, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, equity benefit plans and employment agreements.
Education.
Ms. Kim received her J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1998. She received her B.A. degree in History of Art, cum laude, from New York University, College of Arts and Science in 1992.
